Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Ink & Order for Developers API and this website, run by Yard Socket LLC of Xenia, Ohio. It does not cover the pay-once Ink & Order PDF app, which works on your own device and has its own privacy policy.

Your files

Files you send to the API are held in temporary storage only while the conversion runs, and are deleted right after the PDF is returned, whether the conversion succeeds or fails. We do not read, keep or use the contents of your files. If your HTML refers to images, fonts or styles hosted elsewhere, our conversion engine fetches them from the internet to build your PDF.

What we do keep

• Account: your email address, and the first few characters and a one-way hash of your API key. We cannot see your full key after it is shown to you.
• Usage records: for each conversion, the time, file type, sizes, how long it took, whether it succeeded, and a short error message if it failed. We use them for your monthly limit, support and abuse prevention. They never include file contents.
• Sign-up details: the time and network (IP) address of each sign-up, to limit abuse.
• Billing (paid plans): your plan, and the Stripe customer and subscription IDs. Stripe collects and stores your payment details. See stripe.com/privacy. We never see or store your full card number.
• Server logs: our web server records the time, method, path, response status and IP address of requests. It does not record request bodies, so file contents never appear in them. Logs are rotated automatically and kept only for a short time, for security and troubleshooting.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell or rent your information.
• We don’t use advertising trackers or analytics on this site, and we don’t set cookies.
• We don’t send marketing email. We email only about your key, billing, security or changes to these terms.

Who handles data for us

Our servers are hosted by Hostinger. Stripe processes payments for paid plans. They handle data only to provide those services to us.

How long we keep it

We keep account and usage records while your key exists. You can ask us to delete your key and the records tied to it at any time. We may keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Email hello@inkandordertools.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.

Children

The Service is for developers and businesses and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for material changes we will email the address on your key.
